In the Ilorin South Local Government Area of Kwara, the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) has opened the Comprehensive Health Centre, Idi Isin, Oko-Olowo.
A statement announcing the inauguration was released on Monday in Ilorin by Mrs. Elizabeth Ajiboye, the head of corporate affairs of UITH.
According to Ajiboye, the health center has started operating with a focus on the general populace.
She claims that the medical center will improve the region’s and ultimately the state’s Primary Health Care Services.
She continued by saying that it would also fill the gap in quick healthcare delivery services at the local level.
The business affairs department’s leader advised members of the local community and those nearby to visit the health center for their PHC requirements.
“This increases to four the number of comprehensive health centers under the jurisdiction of UITH,” she continued.
“Other places include medical facilities built in Ihima, Kogi, Kishi, Oyo State, and Esie, Kwara.
