The UAE Cabinet has released the public holiday schedules for both the public and private sectors for the year 2023.
The announcement includes the following official holidays: 1 January as a New Year’s Day holiday; 29 Ramadan to 3 Shawwal as the Eid Al Fitr holiday; 9 Zul Hijjah for the Arafah Day holiday; 10 to 12 Zul Hijjah as the Eid Al Adha holiday; and 21 July as the Islamic New Year holiday.
Additionally, the calendar of UAE public holidays includes the national day holidays on 2 and 3 December as well as the holiday commemorating the Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) birthday on September 29.
