The two spoke about bilateral cooperation as well as recent developments in the ongoing Ukrainian crisis, according to state media WAM.
Zelenskyy and Sheikh Mohamed also discussed the significance of decreasing tension between Ukraine and Russia through discussion and diplomatic measures.

Sheikh Mohamed emphasized that as part of its efforts to stop the situation from getting worse, the UAE seeks to encourage conversations that can be advantageous to all sides.
The Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the preparedness of the Gulf nation to lessen the humanitarian and economic effects of the war during the call and thanked Zelenskyy for his support of the UAE’s humanitarian efforts.
The UAE and Ukraine have had diplomatic ties for thirty years, which was also acknowledged by the two leaders.
