As talks over the date for an all-British blockbuster fight continue, Tyson Fury has yet again sent Anthony Joshua a video message.
After offering Anthony Joshua a shot at the heavyweight championship belts, Tyson Fury has made it clear that he expects him to accept the fight on his terms.
The highly anticipated matchup between the two may no longer happen after the Gypsy King expressed his displeasure with Joshua’s approach to the negotiations for the fight.
Prior to a potential battle at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, it was revealed earlier this week that Joshua had reportedly accepted Fury’s invitation. Fury disclosed that he had proposed a 60:40 split for a hypothetical fight with Joshua.
Joshua wants the bout to take place on December 17, but the two have yet to agree on a date. Now that Fury has acknowledged that he would prefer to fight sooner, it is known that he plans to return to the ring in March, perhaps against Oleksandr Usyk.
The Gyspy King addressed AJ directly in a post on his social media pages today.
He said, “AJ, I still haven’t heard from you. I am going to do a video every hour for the full day until you agree or don’t agree. And just to clarify, there has never been a December 17 fight, ever. There’s only ever been November 26 at Wembley or December 3.
“This is it AJ, Eddie – don’t get scared now. Agree to the fight and let’s give the fans what they want. Go time.
