“He is off to Paris, France to hold some important meetings,” Rahman said in a statement.

The public debut of the legislative mentorship effort and the presentation of the book “Mr. Speaker” in honor of Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila’s 60th birthday were both held the day before Tinubu’s departure.

At the APC’s presidential primaries and national convention, which were held at Eagle Square in Abuja on June 8, Asiwaju Tinubu was declared the party’s nominee for president in the February 25, 2023 election.

He started making thank-you and reconciliation visits to individuals who ran against him in the party’s primary elections, including the seven candidates who resigned for him, as soon as the election was over.
