23,034 senior citizens, retirees, people of determination, and citizens with limited income have received the exclusive Esaad Card as per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, as part of the efforts of the Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs to enable Dubai’s citizens to continue enjoying an atmosphere of happiness and an exceptional quality of life.
Dubai Police, Community Development Authority, Local Military Pensions and Social Security Fund, Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and General Pension and Social Security Authority will contact the identified recipients and begin issuing the cards as part of the support provided to these social categories.
The directives of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed and the initiatives of the Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs, according to Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, reflect the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to provide all feasible support to improve citizens’ lives and provide a decent lifestyle to all members of society through initiatives.
Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, Ahmed Abdul Karim Julfar, claimed that giving the coveted cards to senior citizens, retirees, hard-working individuals, and residents with low incomes is a reflection of the level of social welfare in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
