Popular actress Rahama Sadau has been angered by the inclusion of her name on the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Women Campaign Committee without her consent.
Ms. Sadau, who is ranked number 32 on the list, spoke with her Twitter followers and voiced her displeasure about how her name was included on the list without her consent.
The actress claimed that her inclusion was “a big fat lie” in a tweet and that she was “not aware” of how her name ended up on the list. She also stated that she was not “associated with this” in any way.
On October 1, the All Progressive Congress (APC) published a 944-man list that featured the names of some powerful women from a variety of fields.
The APC Presidential Campaign Committee requested that everyone pick up their letters of appointment at the national headquarters of the committee via its official Twitter account.
Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson, Fausat Balogun, Kyatau Dilallaiya, Liz ‘Omo Ibadan’ Jay, and a number of other celebrities, including the wives of all APC governors, are also included on the list.
Inquiries about Ms. Sadau’s tweet were not answered by the campaign council’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, as of the time this article was filed.
