At least 12 Israelis and 220 Palestinians have been reported dead, with almost 2000 persons injured since the exchange of airstrikes began on the 10th of May.

Israel, who have refused to back down; engaging Palestine with swift strike-responses, had also sent fighter jets to Gaza, hitting its strip this morning which ensued to casualties.
According to reports, the bombardment had followed the attack of Southern Israel with rockets, despite efforts to call a ceasefire between both countries.
The recent escalation which was brought about by early violence’s between Israel and a faction in Gaza called ‘Hamas’, could potentially see a truce after France disclosed its intentions of working out a new ceasefire with Egypt and Jordan being supportive.
China also announced its interest in working with all three countries to end the bloodshed that has claimed the lives of at least 60 children.
