Popular media personality and Nollywood actor, Jim Lawson Maduike, has been confirmed dead.
According to reports, the late Maduike was said to have complained of body pains and discomfort; by midday on Saturday.
His demise was also confirmed by The Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president – Emeka Rollas.
During his time in the movie industry, Jim Lawson Maduike featured in more than a hundred movies in lead and supporting roles alike.
Some of his prominent roles were in movie such as ‘The Trust’, ‘Queen of Aso Rock’, ‘Lust for lust’, ‘Atonement’, ‘National Cake’, ‘Executive Mess’, ‘Queen Of Hasso Rock’, ‘The Master’, ‘My Conscience’, ‘Enemies In Love’ and ‘Still In Love’.
Maduike also had an illustrious career as a broadcaster and TV personality; working as a voice-over artiste for top media outfits.
He spent fourteen years at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria and was also a pioneer staff of Ray Power Radio – for a duration of three years.
The Imo State born actor was also formerly at MINAJ; where he worked for three years.
His passing on comes as a shock to many of his fans and colleagues in the movie industry. He is survived by his family members – whom he left behind.
