Paul Pogba reportedly suffered a muscular injury during practice, making it less likely that he will make France’s World Cup roster.
Since moving back to Turin as a free agent over the summer, the former Manchester United player has yet to make a competitive appearance for the Bianconeri.
He tore the meniscus in his knee while participating in preseason training in the United States back in July. After trying conservative therapy, which proved unsuccessful, he was forced to realize surgery was the only practical solution.
Pogba has resumed training in Turin in an effort to complete his recovery in time to play for Juventus in 2022 as well as to be prepared for the World Cup, which begins on November 20.
La Gazzetta dello Sport asserts that Pogba has a thigh issue that requires another 10 days of recovery time and was brought on by his extended absence from the field.
It is now exceedingly challenging for France to think of endangering Pogba by including him in their team for the tournament in Qatar.
