Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, also known as Phyna, on Sunday won Big Brother Naija‘s seventh season reality competition “Level Up,” being the second woman to do so after Mercy Eke.
After spending 72 days in the Big Brother house, Phyna beat out 25 other housemates to win the highly coveted N100 million top prize. There are cash awards worth N50 million and additional gifts worth N50 million as prizes.
Against Bryan, the first runner-up, who had 26.74 percent, she won by an astounding 40.74 percent. Adekunle had 12.36 percent, while Bella, another competitor on the program, had 15.78 percent. Chichi, a housemate, had 2.49 percent, and Daniella, 1.89 percent.
Prior to the reality show, Phyna was a hype priestess in some of Abuja’s most well-known clubs. Among many Nigerians, her exuberant squeals of “Who deeeeeey!” have gained popularity. Additionally, Phyna has been in a number of skits that have won over many viewers.
The Edo-born woman, who joined the show in July with no followers on Twitter, now claims over 90,000 followers. With 394,000 followers, she presently has more Instagram followers than Bryan, the other Level Up ex-housemate, who has over 430,000.
