Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, special adviser to Osun State’s governor on civic engagement, believes that Adegboyega Oyetola will win the governorship election on July 16 by a landslide.
At a civic engagement event hosted by the Civic Engagement Office on Sunday in Osogbo, Oyintiloye revealed this while speaking to members of the Nigerian Incorporated Electronic Practitioners, Osun State Chapter.
Oyintiloye, who attended the meeting on behalf of Oyetola, stated that the opposition parties’ campaign of smear against the current administration will not prevent the governor from being reelected.
He predicted that the All Progressives Congress would repeat its landslide victory from the Ekiti governorship election in the Osun election.

He said, “For us, defeat is not an option in the coming election. The victory that will be recorded in the election through the popular votes of the electorate for Oyetola and APC. It will surpass that of Ekiti state.
“We are prepared for the election and it will not be out of place to extend hands of fellowship to everyone to join us in moving the state forward. I want to emphasise that failure is not an option. Victory is certain by the grace of God.”
To support Oyetola’s reelection, he asked the electorate to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards.
According to a statement by Oyintiloye, the association’s chairman, Mr. Olusegun Atoyebi, praised Oyetola for the several development initiatives he started across the state.
