According to the health authorities of Gauteng province, a crowd attacked and killed a patient suspected of committing a crime while being transported in an ambulance.
The paramedics who were treating the patient in the Atteridgeville area were also attacked by the mob, and the ambulance was also damaged.
After the man was hurt during a mob attack, paramedics responded to requests for medical aid. They started providing care on the site and were ready to take the patient to the closest hospital.
