The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) has authorized the admission of 62 attorneys to the Inner Bar under the leadership of Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola.
This information was released in a statement on Thursday in Abuja by Hajo Bello, the secretary of the LPPC and chief registrar of the Supreme Court.
Members of the legal profession who have excelled as practitioners and scholars are given the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) as a symbol of excellence.
The new hires for 2022 are listed in order of bar membership seniority. Two prosecutors with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission are among the 62. (EFCC).
New rules for awarding the rank of SAN and related things were also agreed at the conference to serve as a roadmap for future appointments.
