The UAE has announced a multiple-entry tourist visa for holders of “Hayya” cards traveling to the 2022 Fifa World Cup, according to state news agency Wam.
Football fans who want to attend games must have the Hayya Card, which serves as an entry visa to Qatar, the tournament’s host nation, during that time.
Visa requests will be taken starting on November 1, 2022.
The visa, which costs Dh100, can be extended for a further 90 days after it is initially given and is valid for 90 days.
Under current regulations, nationals of nations that do not require visas for entry into the UAE are permitted to visit the Emirates.
How to apply
Visit the Federal Authority For Identity and Citizenship website at www.icp.gov.ae and select the smart channels option to apply for the special tourist visa.
Then, click the Hayya Card holders visa option from the main menu, select public service, and complete the application.
Saudi Arabia declared on August 25 that Hayya Card holders would be permitted entry.
Holders of a Hayya Card are permitted to stay in the kingdom for up to 60 days between November 1 and January 23, 2019, during the World Cup.
Holders of the Hayya Card have a number of advantages, including free public transportation on game days.
