Gareth Bale Joins Los Angeles FC

Welsh international and Former Real Madrid player Gareth Bale has signed for Los Angeles FC of the MLS on a free transfer.

Bale’s signing to the American squad was disclosed in a tweet on Saturday by esteemed football transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano.

“Gareth Bale has already signed the main part of paperworks with Los Angeles FC, done deal—contract until June 2023 with an option to extend also included,” Romano tweeted.

Additionally, the Los Angeles FC are finalizing a deal with the former Real Madrid star, according to sources cited on the MLS’s official website.

Bale, 32, moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid in 2013 for a record-breaking £85 million transfer fee.

Bale earned three La Liga championships and five Champions League crowns during his nine-year stay at Real Madrid. He scored 106 goals in 256 games for Real Madrid.
