Nigerian singer and composer Oyindamola Emmanuel, better known by his stage name Dammy Krane, has publicly criticized Davido for allegedly owing him money.
On Monday, Krane claimed on his Twitter page that even after privately contacting the DMW CEO, Davido refused to pay for his compositional contribution to a previously released single.
The musician threatened to name specific “rich guys” who owed him money in a previous tweet.
“All my rich guys wey dey owe me money, today na Monday o. Abi make we bring am come ‘The Supreme High Twitter Court’ #Eshe,” he wrote.
He followed through on his threat in a subsequent tweet, sharing a screenshot of Davido’s tweet from last year, which read: “Shout out to @dammy_krane!! Co-wrote the hook of ‘PERE’ with me!!”
“My Blooda @davido, run the check. I don reach out to people over the years based on split sheet & outstanding, no response. We no gats dey get this convo here,” Dammy Krane captioned the picture.
Davido released Pere in 2017, a song with American hip-hop legends Rea Sremmurd and Young Thug.
