The Federal High Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has sentenced two internet fraudsters to jail.
Justice Ibrahim Watilat, who presided in the High Court on Tuesday had passed separate sentences of six months and four months on Tobiloba Stephen Shokunbi and Emmanuel Korede Oladunjoye respectively.
The duo who were ordered to forfeit all recovered items from investigations carried out, had pleaded guilty after the charges were read by Justice Ibrahim Watilat.
They will also restitute the sum of $1,000 and N200,000 respectively to their victims.
Shokunbi and Oladunjoye convictions were also confirmed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) – who had stated that both boys were found guilty of criminal impersonation, after separate charges were filed against them by the EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office.
