At this year’s Africa Revenue Summit (AFRES), Adekunle Adebiyi, Executive Director, Growth & Partnerships at Itex Integrated Services, emphasized the necessity for African businesses to adopt a creative attitude to support the continent’s economic development.
This information was shared during an interactive session designed to help entrepreneurs in Africa learn about current trends for generating revenue growth regardless of the industries they are actively involved in.
The “The Mindset that Wins” session centered discussions on the necessity for African-based organizations, notably Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), to cultivate a winning mindset to overcome the difficulties presented by the economies in which they operate.
Adebiyi noted that organizations that have embraced modern business strategies and technologies to upscale their business operations are those that are regarded as being sustainable across the global business ecosystem when commenting on the importance of adopting the culture of having a winning mindset. Thus, this has a favorable effect on their ability to generate income.
His statement that “Organisations, especially SMEs, that aim to run sustainably must be willing to have a winning mindset” serves to further highlight this. This is due to its favorable link with financial performance’s bottom line.
But he went on to underline how important it is for company owners all over the continent, particularly in Nigeria, to adopt a collaborative mindset. This is because teamwork, especially inside the corporate environment, is an effective tactic for boosting revenue growth for businesses across all industries.
His statement that organizations that have embraced the concept of collaboration are better suited to do more clearly demonstrated this. Thus, this aids them in discovering a variety of creative approaches to upgrade their business operations and add extra revenue-generating sources.
