Nigeria singer Buju has at last responded to Ruger’s claim that he is a superior artist.
Ruger boasted about being a better artist than his colleague Buju on Thursday during a Q&A session with his fans on the microblogging website, Twitter.
Ruger claimed that Buju’s success was entirely his own, although most of the songs that have achieved popularity are those on which he has worked with other musicians.
Responding on Friday afternoon via his snap chat account, Buju cited a number of things that set him apart from Ruger, a colleague who is signed to D’Prince’s record company, Jonzing World, in his reply.

Speaking through his platform, Buju, whose actual name is Daniel Benson, said that Ruger has been overshadowed by his elder colleagues in terms of talent and musical ability. The musician, who goes by the stage name BNXN, continued, “Without spending more money on publicity stunts, I have accrued more plays across various music streaming platforms.”
Additionally, Buju warned the Jonzing Records signee to stop “showing him fake love” because he doesn’t need it.
Buju, who was formerly signed to Burna Boy and his mother Bose Ogulu’s record label, Spaceship Entertainment Records, further stated that Ruger only receives 50% of his earnings from concerts and other music endeavors while he receives 100%.
In conclusion, he wrote, ‘Let’s not even talk about money’.
