A seven-story building in Lekki, Lagos State, has reportedly collapsed with six people trapped inside.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMAZonal)’s Coordinator for the South West, Ibrahim Farinloye, verified the occurrence on Sunday in Lagos.
According to Mr. Farinloye, the structure that collapsed was being constructed on Oba Idowu Oniru Street in Lekki.
He claimed that six people appeared to be trapped beneath the building’s debris.
The Nigerian Police Force, NEMA, and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency were among the first responders (LASEMA).
According to reports, rescue efforts were still underway as of the time this post was filed.
