According to the Nigerian Army, 17 Boko Haram terrorists and their families have turned themselves in to the 151 Task Force Battalion soldiers stationed at Banki-Junction in the Borno State local government of Bama.
Through its official Twitter account, the Army revealed the information on Tuesday.
It was reported that Operation Hadin Kai’s brave soldiers in the North-East region had redoubled their military assault, which is what caused the terrorists and their families to surrender in large numbers.
“Profiling of the surrendered terrorists is ongoing”, the Army twitted.
According to sources, Bashir Bulabuduwaye, the faction of Shekau’s primary executioner, recently gave himself up to Nigerian troops.
According to reports, Bulabuduwaye and his family surrendered to Operation Hadin Kai troops stationed in Baking, Bama Local Government Area, Borno State.
According to reports, approximately 79,000 Boko Haram terrorists, both fighters and non-combatants, have so far turned themselves in to Operation Hadin Kai soldiers at various points throughout the theater.
